OUR

Beliefs

At the heart of our ministry is a desire to follow Jesus —not just in word, but in Spirit and truth.

Our beliefs are grounded in the unchanging Word of God, guided by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, and centered entirely on the finished work of Christ. We are not shaped by tradition or culture, but by Scripture — the living voice of God. We believe that true Christianity is not a religion of rules, but a relationship marked by surrender, obedience, and transformation.

This is more than doctrine — it’s our daily devotion and ministry foundation.

As a ministry, we hold fast to the full counsel of God: the call to salvation, the necessity of holiness, the gifts and fruit of the Spirit, and the urgency of the Great Commission.

— Acts 2:42, 47

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer... and the Lord added to their number daily.”

Faith That’s Alive. Truth That’s Eternal.

FIRE FLOWING MINISTRIES

1. The Bible — God’s Living Word

We believe the Bible is the complete, inspired, and infallible Word of God, written by human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is our highest authority for doctrine, correction, encouragement, and instruction in righteousness. We affirm both the Old and New Testaments as the unified, God-breathed revelation of His character, His plan of redemption, and His will for our lives. The Bible is not just a historical document — it is alive and active (Hebrews 4:12), speaking to every generation. We reject any teaching, tradition, or experience that contradicts Scripture, even if it appears spiritual.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” — 2 Timothy 3:16

“The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of our God endures forever.” — Isaiah 40:8

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105

2. TRIUNE God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three distinct Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — who are co-equal, co-eternal, and perfectly united in nature, will, and purpose. This is the mystery of the Trinity, foundational to Christian faith. God the Father is the Creator and sustainer of all things, the Source of life and the One who sent the Son for our redemption. Jesus Christ, the Son, is the exact representation of God, revealing His heart through His life, death, and resurrection. The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son, working within believers to convict, empower, and guide. God is not distant or unknowable — He is personal, relational, and full of mercy and truth.

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” — Deuteronomy 6:4

“There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you.” — 1 Samuel 2:2

“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” — 2 Corinthians 13:14

3. Jesus Christ — Savior, Lord, and King

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, taught with authority, and fulfilled every prophecy concerning the Messiah. He was crucified for our sins, died, and was buried. On the third day, He rose from the dead in bodily form, demonstrating His victory over sin, death, and the powers of darkness. Through His sacrifice, He became the only way to salvation. Today, He is seated at the right hand of the Father and will one day return in glory to judge the living and the dead and to establish His eternal Kingdom.

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.” — 1 Timothy 2:5

“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.” — Colossians 1:15

“And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.” — 1 Corinthians 15:17

4. The Holy Spirit — Present and Powerful

We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God, sent to dwell in all believers. His role is essential to the Christian life — to convict the world of sin, regenerate the heart, empower for service, and sanctify the believer. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as distinct from salvation, which empowers the believer for bold witness and spiritual gifts (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4). We affirm the operation of spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12–14), including prophecy, healing, tongues, and miracles — as active and necessary for the Church today. The Spirit is also our Teacher and Comforter, helping us grow in intimacy with God and produce the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23), which reflects the character of Christ.

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you...?” — 1 Corinthians 6:19

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses...” — Acts 1:8

“Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” — 1 Corinthians 12:7

5. Salvation — By Grace Through Faith

We believe that all have sinned (Romans 3:23), and that salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ. It is a free gift of grace, not something we can earn or deserve. When a person repents, believes in Christ, and confesses Him as Lord, they are born again and receive eternal life. Salvation includes: Justification — being declared righteous by God. Regeneration — being made spiritually alive by the Spirit. Sanctification — the process of becoming more like Christ. Glorification — the future promise of eternal life with Him. True salvation produces fruit and transformation in a believer’s life.

“It is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” — Ephesians 2:8–9

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation...” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” — Romans 10:9-13

6. The Church — His Body on Earth

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all true believers worldwide. It exists to glorify God through worship, build up believers through discipleship, and reach the lost through evangelism. The Church is not a building or denomination — it is a spiritual family, rooted in love and united by the Spirit. We are called to walk in fellowship, use our spiritual gifts, and serve one another in humility. We believe the five-fold ministry (Ephesians 4:11) — apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers — continues to equip the Church today for maturity and mission.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds...” — Hebrews 10:24–25

“And He gave some to be apostles, some prophets...” — Ephesians 4:11–13

7. Water Baptism & Communion

We believe in water baptism by immersion as an outward expression of an inward transformation. It symbolizes our death to sin and resurrection to new life in Christ (Romans 6:4). It is an act of obedience, not a means of salvation. We also believe in the regular celebration of Communion (the Lord’s Supper) to remember Jesus' sacrifice and proclaim His return. It is a sacred moment of reflection, repentance, and renewal. “Repent and be baptized... for the forgiveness of your sins.” — Acts 2:38 “Do this in remembrance of Me.” — Luke 22:19 “We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death...” — Romans 6:4

8. Spirit-Led Living

We believe the Christian life is not meant to be lived in human strength, but by daily surrender to the Holy Spirit. Believers are called to walk in step with the Spirit, obey His voice, and reflect Christ in every area of life — in holiness, humility, love, and truth. This Spirit-led life includes: A deepening relationship with God through prayer and the Word. Bold obedience to His promptings. Ongoing transformation of character and priorities. We do not follow religion or routine, but the living presence of God in us. “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” — Galatians 5:25 “Those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” — Romans 8:14 “Be filled with the Spirit...” — Ephesians 5:18

9. The Great Commission — Our Mission

We believe that every believer and every church is called to the Great Commission — to preach the Gospel, make disciples, and teach people to obey all that Christ commanded. This includes both local outreach and global missions. We are passionate about evangelism, church planting, leadership training, and raising up Spirit-filled disciples who walk in obedience and spiritual authority. “Go and make disciples of all nations...” — Matthew 28:19–20 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” — Matthew 5:14 “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” — Romans 10:15

10. Revival & End-Time Awakening

We believe we are living in a time of increasing spiritual hunger and outpouring, where God is reviving His Church and preparing His Bride. Revival is not just emotional excitement — it is a sovereign move of the Spirit that brings repentance, renewal, and awakening. We long to see whole communities, cities, and nations encounter Jesus and come into alignment with Heaven. We also affirm the return of Christ and seek to live in holiness and urgency. “In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people...” — Acts 2:17 “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” — Ephesians 5:14 “The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come!’” — Revelation 22:17

What We Believe — and Live By.

11. The Gifts of the Holy Spirit

We believe that the gifts of the Spirit — as listed in 1 Corinthians 12 — are active and essential for the Church today. These include gifts such as prophecy, healing, tongues, discernment, miracles, and others. They are not for personal display, but for the edification of the Body and the advancement of the Kingdom. We believe these gifts are to be used in love, guided by Scripture, and practiced in order and humility.

“Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” — 1 Corinthians 12:7

“Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.” — 1 Corinthians 14:1

12. The Fruit of the Spirit

We believe that the evidence of spiritual maturity is not only power, but Christlike character. The fruit of the Spirit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control — must be cultivated through ongoing intimacy with Jesus. Gifts may be instant and supernatural; fruit is formed through abiding.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness...” — Galatians 5:22–23

“By their fruit you will recognize them.” — Matthew 7:16

13. Holiness and the Fear of the Lord

We believe holiness is not legalism, but alignment with God's heart and character. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and invites us into a life of reverence, purity, and surrender. We are called to be holy as He is holy — not in our own strength, but through the Spirit's transforming power. We resist compromise, lukewarm living, and the blending of worldly values with Kingdom truth.

“Be holy, because I am holy.” — 1 Peter 1:16

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” — Proverbs 9:10

“Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.” — Hebrews 12:14

14. The Ministry of Intercession and Worship

We believe in the power of prayer and worship to change hearts, cities, and nations. Intercession is spiritual warfare and partnership with God's purposes. Worship is not just a musical expression, but a lifestyle of surrender, love, and adoration. We value prophetic worship and intimacy with God as central to revival and transformation.

“My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” — Mark 11:17

“God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in Spirit and in truth.” — John 4:24

“Let the high praises of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands.” — Psalm 149:6

15. The Return of Jesus & Eternity

We believe in the literal, bodily return of Jesus Christ to establish His Kingdom in fullness. Every person will stand before God in judgment — those who are in Christ will enter into eternal life, and those who reject Him will face eternal separation. This hope calls us to live awake, holy, and expectant, redeeming the time and preparing for the Bridegroom.

“Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him...” — Revelation 1:7

“And so we will be with the Lord forever.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:17

“Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me.” — Revelation 22:12
